Lil Wayne’s Wax Figure Sparks Viral Sensation, Rapper Responds with Humor

New Delhi : A wax figure of rapper Lil Wayne has gained viral attention after being posted on TikTok with users commenting on its resemblance. Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., responded to the videos on social media, stating that the wax figure at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, does not accurately depict him, but he appreciates the effort.

The museum’s first display date for Lil Wayne’s wax model and the number of locations featuring it remain unclear. This wax figure trend comes after Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson reacted to a replica of himself at the Grévin Museum in Paris. Comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr. humorously criticized The Rock’s wax model for not matching his skin tone and made reference to the backlash faced by Halle Bailey as a Black actress cast as Ariel in the live-action “Little Mermaid” film.

Dwayne Johnson shared the video on Instagram and promised to work with the Grévin Museum to update his wax figure, starting with correcting the skin color. He also joked about having a drink with his wax figure during his next visit to Paris. The Grévin Museum has since removed its Instagram post of The Rock’s wax model and stated that their artists are already working on improvements based on feedback.
