Mumbai : A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable, Dhananjay Yadav, shot and killed three passengers and a senior officer on board a Mumbai-bound train on July 31, 2023. The constable was reportedly upset over being transferred to a new post. He has been arrested and is being questioned by the police.
The incident took place on the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Mumbai CSMT Duronto Express at around 10:30 AM. The constable, who was armed with a service revolver, opened fire on the passengers after an argument.
