Dutch Court Halts Jet Parts Export to Israel Over Gaza Concerns
Amsterdam-A Dutch court has ordered the government to halt the delivery of parts for fighter jets to Israel, as it fears these parts could be used in attacks on the Gaza Strip, which would violate international humanitarian law.
Human rights organizations have argued that this supply amounts to complicity in war crimes. The Dutch government intends to challenge this decision in the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, the lower court has ordered a halt to the export of fighter jet parts to Israel within seven days. While Israel denies allegations of war crimes, the International Court of Justice has urged it to refrain from activities that could amount to genocide.
