Among the victims were two young sisters, Daniela Mendoza and Sofia Mendoza, who were in fourth and second grade respectively at Cox Elementary in Sachse. According to Superintendent David Vinson of the Wylie Independent School District, the girls were described as “rays of sunshine” by Principal Krista Wilson. Another victim of the mass shooting at the Allen Premium Outlets mall in Texas has been identified as Christian LaCour, a 20-year-old security guard who was on duty at the time of the attack. LaCour’s father confirmed his son’s death to CBS News.

Aishwarya Thatikonda, a 27-year-old woman from India, has been confirmed as one of the victims of the mass shooting at the Allen Premium Outlets mall in Texas. A representative for her family confirmed her death to CBS Texas. Thatikonda was employed at a general contracting business located in Frisco.

In that case, Francisco Oropeza opened fire on his neighbor’s home after being asked to stop shooting his gun late at night while a baby was trying to sleep.
