Why does PM Modi appear uneasy? Is the BJP truly on the brink of defeat?
New Delhi: General Election 2024 are currently underway in the largest democracy in the world. The country recently witnessed voting for the second phase. However, as the ruling party BJP fears losing power, they are resorting to astonishing rhetoric that is tarnishing the country’s image globally. Recently, BJP leaders have made shameful statements, and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is contributing to spreading hatred.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi often speaks without facts or evidence in his speeches, which confuses the naive public. Additionally, PM Modi’s shameful statements are tarnishing the country’s reputation internationally. Informed citizens are mocking PM Modi’s statements on social media. Recently, PM Modi made a baseless and shameful claim during a rally, stating, “If the Congress party comes to power, they will mortgage our mothers and sisters’ jewelry or distribute it to a specific group (referring to the Muslim community).” PM Modi didn’t stop there; he also said that if the Congress government is formed, they will even snatch the wedding jewelry of mothers and sisters and distribute it to a specific group.
If we analyze PM Modi’s statement retrospectively, we find that there is not even a shred of truth in it. Because the Congress party has not made any such claim in its election manifesto. In fact, the practice of mortgaging gold has already been prevalent in the country because PM Modi’s BJP government has increased inflation tenfold. The poor are becoming poorer, while the rich are becoming richer. It’s astonishing that the Election Commission is not taking any action against PM Modi’s statements.
Why is PM Modi not asking for votes in the name of development during his ten-year tenure? Perhaps PM Modi knows that he hasn’t done anything worthy of asking for votes from the public. That’s why PM Modi wants to spread hatred among the diverse and united country of Hindu-Muslim, so that chaos ensues in the country. PM Modi knows that the majority of the population in the country are Hindus. Therefore, he is trying to portray the opposition as a Muslim party and his own party as a Hindu party to sway the votes in his favor with this shameful tactic.
While the opposition has lodged complaints against PM Modi’s hateful statements with the Election Commission, they are still seeking votes on the country’s important issues. The opposition is still united and not letting the public’s attention deviate from the issues, which PM Modi is trying to do.
