Chicago : The Pretenders will be touring North America this summer in support of their latest album, “Relentless”. The tour, starting on July 13 in Red Bank, New Jersey, will include stops in cities like Philadelphia, Boston, and Chicago. Some dates are already on sale, while general sales for other shows will begin on March 22. Presales start on March 20.
“Relentless”, released in September, is the band’s first album in three years. Lead vocalist Chrissie Hynde and guitarist James Walborne collaborated with producer Dave Wrench and The Pretenders Collective on this project. Hynde described the album’s title as reflecting the band’s determination to keep going in the face of challenges, saying, “You never retire. You become relentless.”
Additionally, The Pretenders will join Foo Fighters as special guests for select shows on the latter’s upcoming stadium tour. This tour promises to be a memorable experience for fans of both bands.
