Devotees mark the occasion by observing fasts, performing puja (worship), singing bhajans (devotional songs), and reading the Ramayana, the epic that narrates Lord Rama’s life and deeds.

Elaborate celebrations take place in regions like Ayodhya, Lord Rama’s birthplace, where thousands of pilgrims gather for processions and events. Ram Navami symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and upholds the virtues exemplified by Lord Rama, such as righteousness, devotion, and duty.
