Taliban Bans Women from Singing and Studying: A Dark Day in Afghanistan

New Delhi : After the coup in Afghanistan, the Taliban has taken control of the government. The Taliban is notorious for its brutality. Can you imagine an enemy of humanity running a country’s government? If you hand over the reins to the murderers of innocent people and expect peace from them, then you are truly making a foolish mistake.

In Afghanistan, these enemies of humanity frequently impose restrictions that have made life unbearable for women and girls. Recently, these murderers of humanity issued a decree stating that no woman can sit on the same car seat with a man. Not only that, they have now issued another decree banning women from singing and prohibiting girls from studying beyond the sixth grade. It seems like they now view women and girls stepping out of their homes as a crime.

After this cruel Taliban decree, schoolgirls are crying, and their videos have gone viral on social media. It’s shocking that the entire world remains silent in the face of this cruelty. Even the so-called leader of the free world, the United States, is unwilling to speak up. A few girls have taken to the streets in protest, even though they know that opposing the Taliban is akin to facing death, yet they seem to be fighting for the future of the next generation.

India’s silence is also surprising. Can we not do even this much for humanity? Are we willing to watch our foreign trade stained with the blood of humanity? How can we expect to do business with those who commit such cruel crimes against humanity?
